The story of ‘Total Groom and Treatment Solution’ began when we purchased our first Friesian horse. The Friesian breed, known for its iconic long, flowing manes and tails as well as their 'feathers,' the long, thick hair surrounding their lower legs and hooves, has long been the breed we've dreamt of owning. Keeping so much hair maintained and protected can quickly become challenging without the right products. CJ Weatherby already had decades of experience caring for many different breeds of horses. She experienced firsthand the results of dozens of grooming products, but never found that one organic spray that could take care of all the things needed to produce that superior quality of mane, tail, coat and skin. Buying many products to accomplish different jobs was inefficient, time consuming, costly and most of the products with the best results were full of harmful chemicals!

We spent countless hours researching equine products. There are some great ones out there. Some designed with all-natural ingredients, some for renewing damaged hair, some to protect hair from damaging UV, some detangle, some are PH balanced, some don’t leave sticky or oily residues, some repel bugs or grow hair, etc, etc… but we could never find one to provide ALL these qualities to treat the mane, coat, tail, feathers and skin.

Providing the best natural supplements for our horses on the inside, we were determined to use the best all-natural products for their outside.
